Blend Edu's Story: How it all began

Our history was born with a desire to transform realities, inside and outside organizations, and to create increasingly diverse environments so that people have access to the same opportunities.

We believe that change comes through collective responsibility, and we offer tools and knowledge so that each of our clients can gain the autonomy to lead the creation of an inclusive culture.

2011

Being a lesbian woman, Thalita Gelenske (founder of Blend Edu) understood the importance of leading diversity projects in the workplace.

2017

Blend Edu was selected to participate in a program created by Obama for social entrepreneurs, called YLAI.

2017

Thalita was recognized as Valuable Young Leader #1 in Brazil by Harvard Business Review.

2018

Blend Edu began its operation and was selected for the Startup Rio program, which maps innovative companies and technologies.

2019

Thalita represented Brazil during the Annual Meeting, event of the World Economic Forum in Davos.

2020

Blend Edu won 1st place in the SDG Tech Awards for impacting the UN 2030 Agenda and building a more inclusive future.

2020

Thalita was listed as Forbes Under 30 ("Third Sector and Social Entrepreneurship" category).

2020

Blend Edu won the Lead2030 award from One Young World. Diversidade SA was recognized for impacting SDG 10 (reduced inequalities).
